Readers clubs on their way

As the publication of The Nurses’ Handbook draws near I am going to offer readers of the book the chance to join a network of readers’ clubs. This was not wholly my idea, it emerged from the foreword to the book written by Christine Hancock. Christine, with her enormous knowledge of the needs of nurses, praised the book but wondered if nurses would find the time to read it and absorb all the useful information and tips on taking care and looking after their own wellbeing. After talking to some colleagues, friends and people who talk sense I decided to try out the idea of online and offline readers clubs. This way groups of readers can get together and discuss the ideas and tips in the book. Myself and other experts can offer Skypes and livestreams to take the discussion further and their will be some great offers and free stuff to help you look after yourselves. I hope this will be fun. More info soon as I get everything in place.
